LRCS supports the diverse needs of Lakes Region residents who have a developmental disability and/or acquired brain disorder and their families. Each year, LRCS supports more than 1200 Lakes Region residents through highly specialized services such as day support, supported independent living, and early intervention.
LRCS strives to not only support people, but to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Gaining full inclusion for all of individuals and families served is high on the list of priorities at LRCS.
Of the 1,200 area families and individuals that LRCS supports each year, more than 400 individuals are either employed or volunteer regularly in their community. We frankly could not offer this type of support without your help.
LRCS' services are primarily funded through Medicaid. This funding is simply not enough to continue offering the enhanced services on which the Agency prides itself. Our organization counts on support from caring people and businesses throughout the area to ensure that no one is denied the opportunity to lead a more dynamic, fulfilling life.
We need your help. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to LRCS so that we may continue providing the type of supports that all members of our community need. Your gift, no matter how large or small, can ensure that others will be able to experience the quality of life that each of us deserves.
Your support can help us meet today's needs, honor the memory of a loved one, and ensure that we will be able to provide much needed services in the future. We hope that we can count on your support as we strive to take Lakes Region Community Services to even greater heights.
Ways to Give
Become a LRCS supporter by donating to the ‘Community Connection’ Annual Fund and join us in serving the community by promoting independence, dignity and opportunity. Your generosity directly helps families in need in the Lakes Region, filling the gap in what is afforded through Medicaid funding and when other options are exhausted. Donations help provide essential supports to families that need a ‘hand up’ at critical times. It is giving that makes a difference!
