Family Update is a bi-monthly publication of the Region III Family Support Council targeted to families receiving services from Lakes Region Community Services. The newsletter includes useful information about the area agency, legislative updates and resources available in the community.

Nothing feels better than investing in your own community. LRCS has been doing so for over 36 years, but it would not be possible if it weren’t for the dedication and generosity of this community.

There are many ways you can get involved with supporting the community in which you live. These include:

  • Volunteer your time through LRCS
  • Employ one or more of LRCS’ consumers at your business or place of employment
  • Become a strategic partner to LRCS and help out with projects or community events
  • Sponsor an upcoming event that LRCS is producing
  • Make a tax-deductible cash donation to LRCS
  • Consider LRCS in your long range estate planning
