Lakes Region Community Services is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Direct Support Professionals
Monday– Friday 32.5 hours per week in our Day Program
Flexible schedules 40 hours per week in our residential homes

Come to Learn about Shared Family Living opportunities!  Would you consider having a Developmentally Disabled individual move into your home to be an extended family member?  Program is similar to Adult Foster Care. 
Representative will be present to discuss this exciting program.

Qualified Candidates must have a minimum of  High School diploma or GED, clean criminal record, good driving record, reliable vehicle, auto insurance and
a valid New Hampshire drivers’ license.

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is recruiting for a Resource Coordinator to provide support and assistance to individuals and families in coordinating and accessing services.  Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing advocacy; Act as a community liaison, sharing information and resources between the families, the individual, guardian, Shared Family Living Provider and the agency for optimum delivery of services to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders.
  2. Assist individuals with various benefit applications. Assist with employment services.  Listens to, and help draw on, their hopes and dreams.  Facilitates individuals in community participation and intentional relationship building.  Coordinates transition from the Local Education Agency to the adult system, as needed.
  3. Maintains current information on future planning.  Performs other family support tasks IE: respite services, intake, public relations, linking with other family support groups and training development.  Participates in IEP meetings and staffing as requested.   

Qualified applicants will have prior casework or related experience.  Knowledge of family systems theory, current trends in childhood development and special education a plus. Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field preferred.  Possesses effective interpersonal, communication, good organization/time management and computer skills.  Must be self-directed, able to think quickly and work independently.   Knowledge of Laconia and surrounding communities for available resources is preferred. Lakes Region Community Services is seeking to hire an experienced Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist to effectively recruit, screen, and hire qualified employees that meet the staffing needs of all programs within the agency.  Must be familiar and in compliance with labor laws that pertain to recruiting. Applicants will have a high degree of professionalism and a positive, cooperative demeanor while interacting with employees, applicants, and third parties.  This position will also facilitate the agency’s volunteer program.

LRCS is hiring Personal Care Service Providers for the Lakes Region. These are part time positions assisting the elderly to remain in their own homes. The Family Support Council of Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS), a non-profit social services agency, is currently recruiting for a new part-time Social Activities Coordinator position for adults with disabilities.  Responsibilities include coordinating integrated community based activities for adults within the Lakes Region area.  Previous experience and extensive knowledge of the Laconia area is preferred.  This is a 5 hour per week, hourly position with very flexible hours that will require attendance at the events or activities that are planned.
