LRCS is recruiting for a full time Mental Health Specialist to serve as the lead team member for mental health issues when someone supported by LRCS has increased mental health needs. Will work with Resource Coordinators to coordinate services, attends mental health appointments as needed, maintain mental health files of consultations/evaluations of identified individuals. Will also monitor implementation of physician orders and follow the recommended treatment/evaluations ordered. Assists staff, providers & families w/ implementing the care plans, monitoring outcomes. Establish working relationships with local and state mental health treatment programs along with the developmental services system. Establish working relationships with psychiatric inpatient units. Assist families and staff with access to these programs including admissions and discharges. Provides clinical support as needed, acts in support/consultation role for individuals that demonstrate mental illness issues/concerns. Participates in other LRCS and community meetings as requested.
Qualified applicants will be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Mental Health Specialist / Professional in NH. Prior experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities, mental health concerns and working w/ families preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher education required. Lakes Region Community Services is currently seeking to fill this key role. You will lead our efforts to capture, organize, use, analyze data to achieve organizational objectives. Maintain, control multiple databases, act as a liaison between the IT Department and all Stakeholders in Agency Data. Analyze all informational requirements, develop database specifications, enforce all database standards. Coordinate changes, test, implement, plan, security measures to safeguard databases. Qualifications: Associate’s degree, 2-5 yrs. directly-related work experience including project management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Access is required including database technologies, coding structures, data analysis and modeling. Design, implement, business processes for capturing/using information. Experience working with contract management systems, use of data mining and analysis tools such as Crystal Reports a plus. Excellent written, verbal, problem solving skills with ability to work in team environment with diverse groups essential.
Part Time position -20 hrs. week, Located in Laconia.
Job Objective: To work with the Child Care Resource and Referral Program Manager and the Family Resource Director in order to support the mission of the agency and the goal and objectives of the program.
Essential Job Functions: Support the submission of CCR&R contract reports on a timely basis. Submit CCR&R ARRA invoice and other required documents to Child Development Bureau on a timely basis. Track and monitor data requirements of program, including waiting list requirements. Reviews statistical and fiscal reports to ensure compliance and provide data for program planning.
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required. Four years combination of higher education and/or experience in a professional position in an office/business or related setting. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and data collection. Familiar with office equipment such as: phone systems, copier. Valid NH driver’s license.
Part Time position -20 hrs. week, Located in Laconia
Job Objective: To connect families to other families that have similarity of special needs, age, geographical location and other relevant factors. Works collaboratively with LRCS and the Family Support Council.
Essential Job Functions: Willingness to create connections through groups or individually for families with members with disabilities. Focus on connecting families supporting education and networking for families.
Qualifications: High School Diploma with extensive knowledge of individuals with disabilities and their families. Knowledge of the philosophical base of Family Support Services and is able to communicate such to families and others in the community. Demonstrates ability to work in a collaborative manner, work independently, knowledge of child and family issues, maintains confidentiality and a non-judgmental demeanor with families. Communicates effectively with the family and the Family Support Services staff, both orally and in writing. Valid NH driver’s license.
